And estimated salary becomes near 55000 INR.. In junior scale an IAS officer works for around 7 to 9 years.
Senior scale
Basic pay- 41640 INR. + H.R.A. D.A. and T.A.
And estimated salary becomes near 80000. In senior scale an IAS officer works for around 12 to 15
Super senior scale
Basic pay- 51520 INR. + H.R.A. D.A. and T.A.
And estimated salary becomes near 120000 INR.. In super senior scale an IAS officer works for around 17 to 20 years.
Above super senior scale
Basic pay- 80000 INR. (fixed for an IAS) +H.R.A. D.A. and T.A.
And estimated salary becomes near 180000 INR.. Only few bright IAS are selected for above super senior time scale.
80000 is the highest fixed basic pay for an IAS officer. Only Cabinet secretary is given the basic pay of 90000 fixed.
Rent free house
A rent free accommodation is given to the IAS Officer where he has to pay 1200-2000 per month that is like nothing or free. A big house is also given to him with gardeners, cooks and house helpers by the government.
Electricity
The electricity bill of IAS officer house is paid by the government. In the era of so costly electricity he can run free electricity without any tension of its bill.
Vehicle

A vehicle is provided to the IAS officer for official and personal use. Yes, one should not use official vehicle for their personal use, but somehow it is fine to use it.
